My cat has had urinary tract problems in the past. Is there anything I can give him to help prevent this problem from reoccuring?

First, evaluate the type of food your kitty is eating. I recommend organic cat foods for felines. There are many types of good organic foods on the market today. If you don’t have a Whole Foods near you, you
can find organic cat foods on the internet.

I prefer to “go for the gusto” with my cats and feed them a raw organic chicken diet. I highly recommend a recipe provided by Feline Instinct’s Cat Food. They make a powder that you mix with raw chicken. I make a large batch of ground (mixed dark and light meat) chicken that is combined with the Feline Instinct’s powder and freeze the mixture in small containers. This makes it easy to pull small portions out of the freezer and thus helps ensure freshness.

Before feeding the raw mixture, I add 1 dropper full (about 1 teaspoon) NingXia Red** and/or about 1/4 dropper of KB tincture. In the evening I add a ¼ capsule Life 5. NingXia Red, KB tincture and Life 5 are available at Young Living. These supplements support my cats liver and kidneys. Visit www.felineinstincts.com for the recipe.

Editor’s note: Not only is feeding raw a healthier option for your
cats, it is also a money-saving move: raw meats can often be found
in your local market, while high-quality cat foots continue to
skyrocket in price.

** Ningxia Red is a powerful blend of wolfberries c omb i n e d wi t h the "superfoods" pomegranate, blueberry, red raspberry, dark grapes, and apricots, and therapeutic-grade essential oils. Lemon and Orange essential oils energize, fortify, and replenish the body, supporting the immune system and boosting cardiovascular health. They also promote healthy liver function. The juice contains:

 18 amino acids

 21 trace minerals

 Beta carotene

 Vitamins C, E, B1, B2, and B6.

These nutrients allow NR to balance cholesterol and restore a healthy heart, increase athletic ability, stamina, and endurance; maintain healthy weight by converting food into energy not fat; improve brain function and confronting challenges like ADD, ADHD, dementia, depression, and memory loss; and is a natural and powerful ally against disease and aging. NR has a low glycemic index value, so diabetics can take it, and pre-diabetics greatly benefit—it stabilizes blood sugar levels, rather than producing an erratic blood sugar response.
