Sacred Mountain

Jan's Notes: I use Sacred Mountain to enhance meditative practices. I also use it frequently to create the desired atmosphere and lend me courage when I am writing about topics that are extremely personal. I often use Sacred Mountain to help calm nervous or frightened animals and bring them back into their bodies with an enhanced awareness of the physical self; this is a "grounding" oil that can break the pattern of anxious thoughts. I find that it can be helpful to wear Sacred Mountain as a perfume prior to stressful group meetings or activities.

Sacred Mountain is a blend of spruce, Ylang Ylang, Balsam Fir, and Cedarwood. Using this blend in aromatherapy may create feelings of strength, empowerment, and protection. The blend is a grounding agent.

Spruce - grounds the physical body, creating balance and opening the systems to receive; useful for releasing emotional blocks. Used by Lakota Indians to enhance communications with the Great Spirit.

Ylang Ylang - balances male and female energies; brings feelings of love, confidence, and joy.

Balsam Fir - grounding, anchoring.

Cedarwood - used by several Native American Indian groups to enhance spiritual communication and create an open spirit.

Applications:

Diffuse.

Apply to the brain stem, crown of the head, back of the neck, behind the ears, and on the wrists.

Wear as perfume.
